One man is dead after a shooting in Bremen, Ohio Sunday afternoon.
FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Ohio —The Fairfield County Sheriff's Office received a call about a shooting at 2 p.m. in the 220 block of South Main Street.
At the scene, deputies and OSHP officers found one man with an apparent gunshot wound. Deputies rendered emergency aid and CPR until Rushcreek medics arrived on the scene. Due to the severity of the man's injury, he was pronounced dead, Sheriff Alex Lape said in a statement. The shooting is currently under investigation by the Fairfield County Sheriff's Office Detective Bureau and Coroner's Office.
