Alaska State Troopers receive report of a plane crash at the Chena Marina airstrip in Fairbanks
FAIRBANKS, Alaska - At approximately 4 p.m. Wednesday, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a plane crash at the Chena Marina airstrip in West Fairbanks.
75-year-old Jarald Stansel, the pilot, was the only occupant in the incident. He was extricated from the submerged plane and transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Stansel’s next of kin have been notified.Copyright 2022 KTVF. All rights reserved.
