Formula 1 heiress Tamara Ecclestone and her husband Jay Rutland were well on their way to Christmas out of London last Friday night when their 57-room mansion at No. 8 Kensington Palace Garden was broken into by an agile team of jewel thieves

Unless She Had Them With Her, Those Earrings Will Be Gone: Tamara Ecclestone and husband Jay RutlandFormula 1 heiress Tamara Ecclestone, her husband Jay Rutland and their daughter were well on their way to an extended Christmas break out of London last Friday night, when their 57-room mansion at No. 8 Kensington Palace Garden was broken into by a notably agile team of thieves, who had the time to crack both Ms.

The job bore several other features that will be coming under scrutiny. The thieves knew that they could use the size of the house to their advantage, and they knew how to do that covertly, taking their time, spending an estimated 50-55 minutes at their work before being discovered by one of the Rutland-Ecclestones' on-duty, in-house security officers.

The so-called"interior" aspects of the remarkably well thought-through robbery, meaning, the cast of service-bearing characters who knew the layout of the house — and more specifically, the placement and disposition of the two safes within the intimate sphere of the mansion — will be occupying most of Scotland Yard's and the Rutland-Ecclestone insurance company adjusters' time in the coming weeks.

St. Mary Abbots' vicarage also has a wing running north off its east flank that connects to the back of the church itself, and that wing directly abuts the garden of what we might call Ecclestone Manor, at No. 8 Palace Green. The parking lot takes up what was once the courtyard between the vicarage, its back wing, and the church. Not least, there's even a little path leading from the parking lot, around the vicarage, to the vicarage garden. The church also holds a private primary school.
