The Arizona Department of Transportation is advising motorists to plan for daytime travel delays on State Route 260 near Payson on Wednesday, June 8, and Thursday, June 9, as crews perform maintenance to the roadway. Drivers should slow down, proceed through the work zones with caution and watch for construction personnel and equipment while the following restrictions are in place from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.:
Eastbound SR 260 will be narrowed to one lane on Wednesday, June 8, at two locations between mileposts 268 and 269. Westbound SR 260 will be narrowed to one lane on Thursday, June 9, at three locations between mileposts 263 and 271.Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors.
