In the eighth round of the fight, Resendiz dropped his hands after Garcia landed a body shot.
And Garcia immediately capitalised, as ringside footage shows him catching his opponent with a crushing right hook that saw sweat fly off the head of Resendiz. He dropped to his knees, but Resendiz bravely made it back to his feet before the end of the referee's count, although it was in vain as the fight did not last much longer.
Sensing his opponent was hurt, Garcia pounced and pinned his opponent against the ropes in the corner.And Garcia can be seen bouncing Resendiz's head back and forth with his fists before the referee stepped in and waved off the bout.
