Exact time Met Office says heavy rain will stop at Blackpool Air Show today after downpour
If you are heading to Blackpool Air Show today then you'll need your waterproofs. It is forecast to rain throughout Saturday morning and into the afternoon.
Thousands are set to line the promenade and the main flypast area between central Pier and North Pier to watch the Red Arrows and more take to the skies over the weekend for the annual event. Earlier visitors have been greeted with heavy downpours this morning, but it isn't a case of getting soaked the whole time.
The latest Met Office forecast shows a break in the bad weather, with the sun even making an appearance. The show sparks into life with the Red Arrows flying over Blackpool Tower at 2pm, ahead of 12 other displays throughout the afternoon.And the weather Gods appears to be looking down favourably on Blackpool with the rain forecast to ease off at around 1pm.
