Danny Serafini, a former MLB player, was arrested alongside another woman following a two-year investigation in connection with the 2021 murder of his father-in-law and attempted murder of his mother-in-law.
Serafini, who played for the Minnesota Twins and Chicago Cubs in the late '90s, was arrested after a two-year investigation
Serafini, 49, was arrested the same day as suspect Samantha Scott, 33, who was apprehended in Las Vegas. "Since then, PCSO detectives have worked tirelessly over the course of the past two years, devoting countless hours of follow up by detectives, along with the DA’s Office," the sheriff's office wrote on Facebook.
