A month after saying he was glad not to be running again, the 73-year-old Republican told CNN he hasn't ruled out running again in 2024.

“It was the most painful thing I ever had in my life and it went on for weeks,” Perry said. “If you take enough opioids and follow it up with stuff to put you to sleep and wake you up you might be a little addled. Or a lot addled.”
