'Pulse' sees the Ardboe man open up on his recovery from a near fatal heart attack
Former Tyrone GAA player and well-known musician Mickey Coleman is set to release a new book which sees him open up about the ‘widow maker’ heart attack which almost killed him in 2021.
“The heart attack is a big part of the book and the recovery from it then, and how that recovery has been a lot better than anyone had anticipated,” Coleman told Belfast Live. “The wellness side of it is a big part of the book and I think the most interesting part of the book.” “I had a fair idea that the physical part of it I could deal with and I would get there with it, but then there’s an emotional part of it and your mental health.
“Something grabbed me about New York. I loved the energy, I loved the buzz and I said I’ll take more of that.”
