Which Cast & Crew Will Return For The Mandalorian Movie Dave Filoni is confirmed to direct Lucasfilm's The Mandalorian movie. As the protégé of George Lucas, Filoni serves as an executive producer for The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett and Ahsoka. While cast details remain unknown at present, it seems highly likely that Pedro Pascal will reprise his role as Din Djarin alongside puppet pal Grogu.
