My expectations for the show were high, yet it still managed to exceed them
For months and months I have been seeing adverts online for the film or posters around the city for the musical, so I was beyond excited to go and see ‘Everybody’s Talking About Jamie’ at Nottingham Theatre Royal. and I was blown away from start to end.
The entire cast was amazing, and I couldn’t imagine a better choice for anyone, especially Jamie. Ivano Turco gave a fabulous performance, and with his beautiful voice and how he could do anything in heels, he truly embodied the sassy character from Sheffield.All of the cast members had amazing voices, but one thing that really stood out for me was the amazing dancing throughout the show.
Talia Palamanthanan also did an amazing job as Pritti, and also stunned the audience with her lovely voice. As the set was set in Sheffield which is not too far from Nottingham, it was also nice hearing references to things like the Supertram and Meadowhall.
