Kevin Sinfield has been 'humbled' by the support he has received as he takes on his seven day ultra marathon
Rob Burrow’s wife Lindsay has praised “special” Kevin Sinfield after he was welcomed at Headingley stadium by hundreds of supporters.
This morning , Kevin was greeted by his friend Rob and his family when he reached the stadium in Headingley as well as crowds cheering him on.He was described as a “special” human being by Lindsay who stated “everyone needs a friend like Rob.” “They’re just special people aren't they and I think what Robs done in terms of sharing his story but then the efforts Kev’s done to raise the awareness, for not just Rob but the whole MND community is really special, it takes a really special type of person to do that.”
Kevin began on the seven day marathon on November 13 in Edinburgh and is aiming to reach Old Trafford for the halftime whistle at the Rugby League World Cup men's final on Saturday, November 19.Kevin said that he has been humbled by the support he has received from the public and said he will “keep fighting” alongside Rob Burrow and his family.
