If past desert levels in Super Mario Bros. games are anything to go by, however, these foes may be the least of his concerns. The angry sun that appears in Super Mario Bros. 3 could bring the heat of a blazing ball of fire well within torching distance, and shifting sands are a perpetually memorable feature that could make a welcome appearance.
