Despite Earth’s less-than-stellar reputation in the galaxy, its had more Green Lantern activity than any other planet in the DC Universe. Despite only a few thousand people in the entire universe being worthy of wearing a Green Lantern ring, a surprisingly high number of recruits have come from Earth or, at the very least, were involved with the planet.
9 Keli Quintela Keli Quintela, aka the Teen Lantern, is a unique case when it comes to Green Lanterns in that she was never strictly chosen to join the Corps. Rather than being selected for a Power Ring, Keli created a gauntlet to access the Green Lantern’s Central Power Battery. Despite the unconventional manner of her accessing the Emerald Light, she’s proven to be a prodigy, working alongside other heroes and Corps members.
6 Jessica Cruz Green Lanterns are all about overcoming fear, and no one knows that better than Jessica Cruz. Jessica first gained special abilities when she became the newest host to the Ring of Volthoom after the death of Earth-3’s Power Ring. Jessica eventually shed the evil ring and became a full-fledged Green Lantern but struggled with a severe form of anxiety.
3 John Stewart When it comes to ring-slinging, John Stewart is near the top of the list. Though initially selected as a reserve Green Lantern, John didn’t wait to start making positive changes. John is a former Marine, and his tactical knowledge on the battlefield has helped him and his fellow officers out of hairy situations. He’s also an architect and excels in making highly-detailed constructs with his Power Ring.
