BREAKING: England win third Test against Australia to keep Ashes challenge alive

England have won the third Test against Australia to keep their Ashes challenge alive. But they held their nerve and crossed the line after losing just one more wicket and hitting a number of boundaries.England's three-wicket win was achieved despite captain Ben Stokes' dismissal for just 13.

Harry Brook batted with great maturity as he made a steely 75, taking a decisive chunk out of the 251-run target. He fell with 21 still needed as the third Test descended into nerve-shredding tension, but Mark Wood cut through the anxiety with a feisty 16 not out.Chris Woakes went on to complete a remarkable return to the Test arena by crunching the winning runs, finishing unbeaten on 32."That is my first time getting England over the line with the bat so I am delighted that I managed to get some runs here," he said.
