On the latest lineup of newly announced concerts at the Old Town School of Folk Music: Grammy-winning musician Emmylou Harris.
According to an announcement Tuesday from Old Town School, tickets go on sale Friday morning for the concert later this month in the Maurer Concert Hall, with seats going for $125 for the public, $123 for members. According to Old Town School, the intimate venue has capacity of about 400 to 420, with all seats within 45 feet of the stage.
Singer and songwriter Harris is a 14-time Grammy Award winner and Billboard Century Award recipient, with a career spanning 40 years and more than 25 albums, having recorded with artists from Linda Ronstadt to Bob Dylan, as well as Neil Young, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Roy Orbison, Beck, Elvis Costello, Johnny Cash, Lucinda Williams, Lyle Lovett and others.SamaSama Project for World Music Wednesday on Feb. 2Emmylou Harris & The Red Dirt Boys concert is 8 p.m. Jan.
