Emmerdale legend announces exit from ITV soap after six years as Samantha Giles leads farewells

Emmerdale legend and writer, Sharon Marshall, has announced that she is leaving the hit ITV soap after six years.

Emmerdale fans and Sharon's colleagues were quick to share their well-wishes to the writer, saying she would be missed on the ITV soap. It was reported in October that Fiona, 43, was leaving her role of Priya after 11 years on the soap to pursue other acting opportunities.
