Eagle-eyed soap fans have been treated to a glimpse of a familiar face thanks to Emma Stansfield's arrival in Emmerdale, but what exactly is her life like off screen?
Life in Emmerdale has never been without its drama, but in recent weeks, one character who appears to have been at the heart of it, is embittered wife Julie, played by Emma Stansfield, who is seeking justice for her husband Lloyd after he was attacked by Dan Spencer.
As Lloyd remained in hospital, his wife began digging for answers and couldn’t bring herself to believe Dan and Amelia’s version of events, something which saw her hassling Amelia in the village, as she branded the youngster a liar and a t*rt. However, despite being born in Monmouth, Emma spent much of her early life in the nearby town of Much Birth, England - which is where she first discovered her love of acting at the tender age of just three years old.
Acting Career Since graduating, Emma immediately hopped into the exciting world of acting work, with a wealth of memorable roles padding out her CV, including early appearances in Holby City and The Royal. Her longest running role to date has been in the CBBC series Jamie Johnson, when she played the role of Jamie's mum from 2016 to 2022.
