Sam is adamant he left Craig alive and well, but the police aren't so sure.
An update was given Things were not looking good for Sam Dingle at the start of Monday ’s Emmerdale episode, as the police continued to question him over the death of Craig Reed . Sam certainly had the motive to kill Craig, the man who raped Lydia and then taunted her by befriending the family and manipulating Sam and Samson. When he discovered the truth he was furious with himself for being taken in by Craig.
Kim was out riding when she saw Craig in a field. As he tried to get her to help him her horse reared up and knocked Craig to the ground. Cain appeared as Kim gazed down at Craig and the two agreed to just walk away. Kim set the horse free and reported him missing, so that it would look like Craig had been killed by a frightened runaway horse.
