Many fans have hit out at the recent plotlines surrounding her character, Gabby, on the show
A number of Emmerdale fans have hit out at the latest storyline given to Rosie Bentham's character, Gabby, which they feel is making her seem "pathetic" and 'a victim' when the actress is capable of more than they're serving her.
In the latest episode of the show, Gabby was continuing to try to get her revenge on Nicky. As part of her scheme, she was blackmailing Billy into beating Nicky up. However, Billy instead turned to Dawn and the pair refused to have anything more to do with her. Towards the end of the episode, Kim told Gabby off and said it was her fault people were turning against her.This led to many Emmerdale fans criticising the plotline, with one calling it a "waste" of Rosie Bentham's talents. @MaryLuvsLaughin said: "My heart goes out to Gabby.
@itzzzo_ added: "Fair enough Gabby feels like she wants 'revenge' but the issue is she is so unlikeable and horrible to pretty much everyone else who hasn't done anything to her." Meanwhile, @Momrocks50 said: "Gabby is very needy and very dangerous how she got shares making her very wealthy is beyond me Sort her Kim".
It comes as Emmerdale moves to two dramatic one-hour episodes in a row this week with a dramatic and hard hitting sex attack storyline looming.
