Emmerdale fans have been left fearing that there could be a "sinister" twist involving Tom King as he made a return to the village and bumped into ex Belle Dingle on Thursday.
Fans will recall that Tom, who was last seen in the village in 2013, had a relationship with Belle, even convincing her to run away with him.During Thursday's episode, Belle and Tom, whose dad is late killer Carl King, naturally flirted with one another, catching up. Taking to Twitter, one person said: "Tom King the serial killer? Or Tom King going to rip someone off? They've already got 2 rip-off storylines, so three might be a world record."
"And of course, Tom and Belle [Dingle] have a history. They see each other and they rekindle and then we will be on a journey with Tom and Belle for quite some time as we play out the story with them."
