Connie goes on such a journey. Were you able to shoot this in order at all, or what helped you to get into her headspace?
What really helped is that we were shooting in Wales, on an estate where the house we filmed in was at the top. And then there's that hill that Connie runs down and the river and the cottage were actually the bottom of the hill. You never hardly ever get to do that on any job. And we'd had these two, three weeks in nature.
Maybe I do. Maybe that's something I can sort through in therapy. [Laughs].I guess, to be honest, it's complex, isn't it? It invites a complexity that maybe I'm interested in. But I think it is sort of a coincidence, I don't think I search that kind of stuff up purposely. Maybe subconsciously.It's about being varied, that appeals to me. But then there are just things that come along and you are sort of drawn to them.
