San Holo's remix of Eminem's 'Lose Yourself is 🔥 🔥
Deficio's playful rendition of the Eminem song includes metallic-based melodies and toy-like synths that lay over the thumping beat. When an electronic artist remixes a hip-hop record, there's going to be a fair amount of attention and likely some judgement. However, Matoma has probably had the most luck of any dance artist with his lighthearted reworks of hip-hop classics.
He goes a similar tropical route with his remake of Eminem's "Business" and keeps the production fresh with chill instrumentation. More often than not, less is more. Offset Noize and Stravy utilize few instrument layers in the remix of "Lose Yourself", but make excellent usage of the electric guitar, bass pads and a high-pitched lead that cuts through all the noise. San Holo pumps up the bass in his version of the Eminem song.
