The collision happened on a residential estate in Stockport on Friday evening
Emergency services rushed to a residential estate in Stockport this evening after a child was struck by a car. The collision happened on Walnut Tree Road in Cheadle Heath around 4pm.
Locals reported seeing a number of police and paramedic vehicles around the street which runs off Swythamley Road just behind the Aldi store in the area. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police told the Manchester Evening News that thankfully the child's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Enquiries are said to be ongoing.
