Plus-size retailer, ELOQUII, and global media company for women, Refinery29, embarked on an almost two-year journey before launching a new, entirely crowdsourced collection today.
A new collaboration between ELOQUII and Refinery29 yields a plus-size collection called the Weekender, designed to close a gap in women's closetsThe burgeoning plus-size market has become a breeding ground for unique and innovative partnerships that have the potential to reshape the business - and purpose - of fashion.
"We’ve learned that in plus-size we can find really great things that take us to really specific places: a wedding or a gala. There’s also a heavy focus on work-wear," said Torres."What hasn’t been focused on is the in-between. Most women are looking for the perfect white tee, amazing jeans or some kind of date-night blouse or maxi dress that’s versatile.
The collection brought together long-time plus-size fashion industry know-how at ELOQUII and an audience of engaged women at Refinery29.
