Billionaire Elon Musk was met with a negative reaction from the crowd after he was brought on stage by Dave Chappelle during a stand-up comedy show at San Francisco’s Chase Center on Sunday night.... According to clips of the event shared by attendees on social media, Chappelle invited Musk on stage as he asked the crowd to “make some noise for the richest man in the world,” a request that was first met with a mixed reaction. The boos got louder as Musk waved at the audience and raised both his hands prompting Chappelle to quip that some of the people recently fired from Twitter by Musk may be in the audience.
As the negative reaction against Musk continued Chappelle took a shot at his own audience saying all the people who are booing “have terrible seats.” Chappelle then joked about Musk’s space travel endeavors telling the audience they can boo all they want but the billionaire’s business model was “f*ck earth I’m leaving anyway…I’m going to Mars.”as the comedian made Musk shout “I’m rich, bitch!”Both Musk and Chappelle have been in the midst of various controversies in the past year.
