As news of war in the small Middle-Eastern nation made headlines around the world, CEO of Tesla Elon Musk declared in a tweet on X that all Superchargers in Israel will be free.Although when Tesla first introduced its Supercharger network, they offered free charging to early Model S and Model X owners as an incentive, it has not been common for Musk to make such moves.
Over time, Tesla has gradually shifted away from offering free Supercharger access to all customers for paid services. Tesla has, however, unveiled a number of Supercharger pricing schemes. For instance, some Tesla vehicle owners might get a set number of complimentary Supercharger miles when they buy a car, but once those miles are used up, they must pay for charging. Additionally, a package that includes a set amount of free Supercharging may be sold with some Tesla automobiles.
Tesla has also offered Supercharger credits or credits for the referral of new Tesla customers as a way to provide free or discounted charging to some owners.to open Tesla's Supercharger electric vehicle charging network to its customers, integrating Tesla's charging ports into new GM vehicles built from 2025. The news followed a previous deal inked with Ford for the same capacities.
