In an interview with Tesla Owners Silicon Valley released Wednesday, his billion-dollar empire was shown to have a crack, Musk commenting that electric-car-battery shortages and supply chain issues are causing the loss of billions of dollars. “Gigantic money furnaces” is how Musk described the new Tesla factories in Germany and Texas in the third part of a YouTube video interview series that started May 31. “It’s really like a giant roaring sound, which is the sound of money on fire,” said Musk.
