An ELDENRING modder managed to summon a massive creature by altering how Spirit Ashes work, making them even more helpful than they already are.

Many Elden Ring fans are aware of just how helpful Spirit Ashes can be, but one player has taken them to another level with the help of mods. These hacks are just one of many unique modifications that talented and tech-savvy gamers have applied to FromSoftware's latest action RPG, with some, such as the Elden Ring Thomas the Tank Engine mod, being somewhat more ridiculous than others.

While not what most would call an easy game, Elden Ring certainly has more quality of life and accessibility features when compared to other FromSoftware titles. Co-op summoning has always been a way to make these games easier, but Elden Ring makes this approach much more straightforward with the implementation of Spirit Ashes, which essentially allow for single-player summoning. These various Spirit Ashes can be found throughout the game's world and are typically based on various NPCs.

i really should not have upgraded turtle ashes to max. so unwieldly at max size pic.twitter.com/de6sKdhvf2 — king bore haha/geeeeeorge March 22, 2022 This actually isn't the first time a mod like this one has appeared within the Elden Ring community. Another Elden Ring modder recently made bosses summonable, which gave them a major leg-up in combat encounters. The mod put on display by King Bore Haha seems to be similar in the sense that it provides a massive advantage, although it is a bit more ridiculous in the given context.

There has been some debate within the Elden Ring fanbase about whether or not Spirit Ashes make the game too easy. While players are sure to continue in that fervent discussion for weeks and months to come, most would likely agree that summoning a Mausoleum might wind up being a little game-breaking. Still, this mod looks to be made just for laughs, and plenty of novice and seasoned Elden Ring players alike are sure to get a kick out of it.
