Fellow flyers watched on in hilarity as the determined passenger set upon his luggage

Travellers at Edinburgh Airport were bewildered recently after a fellow passenger was captured smashing his suitcase to bits so it would fit into a carry-on luggage sizer.

In the video, which is set to jaunty music, the traveller is seen trying to jam his suitcase in several times, with each step becoming ever more drastic in his bid to avoid paying to put his bag in the hold and waiting for it at the other end. The clip ends as he gathers up the broken pieces of his suitcase and appears to present them to the bewildered staff for boarding.
