The former Leeds United winger says there's more Grays coming through the Thorp Arch talent factory
Leeds United legend Eddie Gray has hailed his great nephew Archie's breakthrough at Elland Road this season and is pleased to see the Gray family dynasty continue with the 17-year-old.
"Archie in his own right, has done very well. He's only young but he's playing in the first-team for Leeds United so full credit to him."The Thorp Arch academy graduate, Archie, became the youngest Gray to make his debut for Leeds United, pipping Eddie by a matter of months. Archie's dad Andy, grandfather Frank and legendary great-uncle Eddie have all pulled on the white shirt of Leeds United and his younger brother Harry is also coming through the youth system at Elland Road.
Eddie was voted the third all-time greatest player to play for Leeds United and he's confident the Whites have the ability to win promotion this season. "The Championship is tough for any club," he said. "I mean I think our club are capable of doing something in the Championship but we've got to be at our best in every game.
