Breaking: Eastland County residents urged to evacuate over ‘fast-growing’ wildfire, emergency crews say
A wildfire Sunday afternoon has forced residents of Eastland County to evacuate immediately, emergency crews say.that a wildfire was “fast-moving” near FM 2731 and County Road 230, between U.S. Route 183 and Texas Highway 206.
Residents in the vicinity of the fire were urged to evacuate immediately via Highway 206, the alert posted by the National Weather Service said. The Eastland Complex fire has burned more than 54,000 acres as of Sunday morning, destroying homes and killing at least one person.. Maggie writes about breaking news, crime and weather.
