It didn't take long for EastEnders super sleuth fans to predict a major plotline twist is beckoning after the arrival of George Knight on Thursday evening. After many hints were dropped by the character about his mystery wife and the mother of his two daughters, eagle-eyed fans think they know who she is.
Not everyone is impressed by George's arrival though with Linda Carter furious to discover that her mum, Elaine, is welcoming into the Vic - and she's convinced all is not what it seems with him. George offered sound advice to a bereft Ben, commenting that he had once been in a similar situation with his two girls left to grow up without a mum, too.
