They have to intervene George Knight and Linda Carter are forced to step in and take action in upcoming EastEnders episodes as Jay Brown spirals out of control. Unable to process his grief after Lola’s death, Jay has turned to drink and drugs and is now damaging his relationship with the likes of Lexi and Ben . Elsewhere, George, Anna and Gina take a trip down memory lane soon when items from the bar in Marbella get delivered to the pub.
The next day, George grows concerned at the sight of Jay and starts to wonder if he might have a negative influence on Gina. After another setback, Jay drinks himself into oblivion before George kicks him out after finding drugs in his belongings. Witnessing the confrontation unfold is Linda, who decides to bar Jay from the pub. Gina tries to help Jay Ignoring Gina’s concern, Jay gets into the car and decides he’s going to drive to Margate.
