Billy begged Jay to live Jay Brown’s family have been left in turmoil following reports that he had been involved in an accident in EastEnders. Unfortunately, because Jay’s only official next of kin was Lola, neither the police nor hospital staff could give Billy Mitchell any further information, leaving everyone completely in the dark and unaware of if he was even still alive. This caused problems for Ben and Callum , who had to face daughter Lexi and explain what had happened.
As they waited for news, Billy recalled stories from Jay’s childhood, and admitted that Jay was the son he chose, before deciding to go and find out exactly where he was. Lexi and Ben called Jay This caused a confrontation between Billy ad the receptionist, which was soon broken up by Callum’s arrival. Eventually, they were able to see Jay, who had been put into an induced coma after crashing into a tree.
