The actress is best known, and much-loved, for playing Stacey Slater in the BBC One soap
EastEnders star Lacey Turner has revealed the same routine she has had throughout her two decades on the show which appears to cause much amusement to her co-stars. .
Ever since, Stacey has tackled everything from an affair with her husband Bradley's dad, Max Branning, to being diagnosed with bipolar disorder and killing Archie Mitchell. Lacey left the role of Stacey in 2010 and after bagging roles in the likes of Our Girl, she reprised her role in EastEnders four years later, in 2014, and was soon thrust into what became a highly acclaimed postpartum psychosis storyline.
"I'm just going to get my toast which I've been having for twenty years..." she said as she paid her way to the canteen area. "I've been having the same breakfast for nearly 20 years," Lacey explained to the camera before someone asked: "So, are you having apricot jam?" to which she replied: "I am having apricot jam, yeah...
But revealing more about her morning before getting to work, Lacey said: "I nearly got eaten by my chickens this morning..." to which Emma exclaimed: "What!?" Lacey reiterated: "I nearly got eaten by my chickens this morning. Why do they chase you? They scare me. You go to put food in and then they run out. They chase your ankles."
