EastEnders Jamie Borthwick has said he acted 'the clown' to make his soap wife Lola Pearce's brain tumour death easier for their own screen daughter.
Viewers of the show had been dreading the episode for weeks, which came after the hairdresser and mother of one was diagnosed with an incurable brain cancer last year. This afternoon he told the TRIC awards official media partner OK! from the red carpet: "I feel like I was on a bit of a come down afterwards. it was so much, it was such a big thing. Then it was on and that was it.
