The high school, middle and elementary schools are on a 'secure lockdown' Thursday morning, the district confirmed.
The East Pennsboro School District is on lockdown Thursday morning because of an active police investigation.
“The students and staff at the High School, Middle School and East Pennsboro Elementary School are currently in a secure lockdown in response to a directive issued by the East Pennsboro Police Department regarding an incident near campus,” the school district said in a message to parents.Details on the police investigation were not immediately known. The school district said parents and guardians will be updated as more information becomes available.
