Liverpool Council has confirmed a resurfacing programme will be carried out
Major roadworks are to be carried out across one of Liverpool’s busiest routes for almost two months.
The seven-week programme will begin from Monday evening, with full closure of outbound lanes. In a social media post, the local authority confirmed the closure will begin from Lower House Lane to Bridgehouse Lane Junction in L11. A series of two way light signals are to be situated just before the Liverpool/Knowsley boundary on Bridgehouse Lane. The stretch of road is situated around major businesses in the area, including the Showcase Cinema and the Stonedale Retail Park.
