The 500 additional homes form part of a plan to build 1,500 properties and an employment site, reports theHinckley and Bosworth Borough Council is yet to make a decision on the plan for the 104-acre site, which also includes a takeaway.The LDRS said the new application also asks for permission to create vehicle access to the estate from Mill Lane and Astley Road.
As part of an agreement for the developers to provide funding towards community facilities if the scheme goes ahead - known as a section 106 agreement - improvements would be made to the Weavers Springs Sports Park pitches.
