Eamonn Holmes will interviewed ahead of the external review into Phillip Schofield's exit from ITV after branding the situation a cover-up.
Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford are set to be interviewed in the ITV Phillip Schofield probe after the GB News presenter branded the situation a 'cover up'.
Following Schofield's bombshell statement confirming the 'unwise, but not illegal' affair with a younger male colleague Eamonn appeared on Dan Wootton's TalkTV show. Eamonn said: "It's an illusion, it's an illusion," as Dan asked: "Isn't it a cover-up?" He claimed Schofield created a “toxic” work environment and “an atmosphere where people hated him”. It was reported by The Sun that Eamonn was yet to be interviewed as part of the review, but a source told The Mirror that was "not true".
