Eamonn Holmes claims 'ITV's' Holly and Phillip queue-gate excuse was 'a lie'
Eamonn Holmes has accused ITV's Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby of lying about last year's queue-gate scandal, in which the pair faced backlash after skipping the queue at the late Queen Elizabeth's lying-in-state.
"Unless there's any documentary evidence of this, I would put it to you, that is another lie! Phillip Schofield admits he lies, ITV lie, the place is a den of inequity." "It was strictly for the purpose of reporting on the event for millions of people in the UK, who haven't been able to visit Westminster in person.
"However, we realise that it may have looked like something else... and therefore totally understand the reaction. Please know, that we would never jump a queue!"
