EA wants in on the Monster Hunter action, and is partnering with Koei Tecmo and Omega Force for a new hunting action game...
Seeing big publishers like EA trying to break into the hunting action space dominated by Monster Hunter shouldn't come as too much of a shock —was one of the breakout hits of last generation and went on to smash records and become Capcom's biggest release of all time, so it's only natural that others would look to try and emulate that success.
The very pretty image above is all we have for the new game at the moment , but we're promised more details"later this month," probably at the Tokyo Games Show which is happening this weekend. While no platforms have yet been announced, we fully expect EA to push this as wide as it can, and that's likely why the team is going with a new IP here rather than trying to attract newcomers to the Toukiden brand.
