As the decades have gone on, violence has gone up, and it’s time someone addressed the issue of inner-city youth violence, said Marcella M. Boyd Cox, vice president and chief of community engagement.She noted the burden this can place on families, who often aren’t prepared for funeral arrangements, and the cost.
