Online-betting and fantasy-gaming company DraftKings on Dec. 23 said it has entered into a series of interrelated transactions. First, it is going public by merging with a special-purpose acquisition company Diamond Eagle Acquisition.
Second, it has raised $304 million from investors including Capital Research and Management, Wellington Management and Franklin Templeton. Third, it is buying SBTech, which provides technology for sports-betting and gaming platforms.
