Drivers have been urged not to contact the DVLA today
Drivers are being urged to avoid contacting the DVLA's customer services today as workers across the UK take part in industrial action.
The DVLA has said that strikes will specifically impact their contact centre. While the DVSA deals with driving standards, including testing, strikes will also impact DVLA resources which focus on issues with licencing. "Please avoid trying to contact us on Wednesday if possible. Our online services will be available and working normally."
Members are walking out on Wednesday over disputers concerning a 10 per cent pay rise, pensions, justice, job security and redundancy terms.
