The Astros on Wednesday officially confirmed that Dusty Baker will manage the club again in 2023 after he led Houston to a World Series championship this year.

“I don't need to talk about Dusty. He’s a legend,” Crane said. “He’s really done a lot for the team. … We were able to sit down, it took probably 15 minutes, and we were able to come to an agreement and I’m happy to say he’ll be back for another year.” Baker, who won his first World Series title as a manager this year at age 73, said he has not decided whether or not next season will be his final year managing.
