Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall is preparing for her next royal role by following The Queen's style footsteps
Recently it was announced that Camilla Parker Bowles will become Queen Consort when her husband Prince Charles becomes King. This new title will not change the Duchess of Cornwall's duties too much, as it mainly means that she is the spouse of the current monarch and their duty is to support them.
Camilla made a regal appearance on Monday as she stepped out sporting one of Her Majesty's favourite colours in a purple Fiona Clare Aldridge coat. This was accessorised with a classic Chanel quilted mini handbag and in royal tradition matched her Philip Treacy feathered hat to her ensemble. Not only this, Queen Elizabeth is never not seen wearing a brooch from the vast collection of royal jewels, which is a style note that Camilla has been adopting more and more with her recent appearances.
When we saw this outfit, we were instantly transported back to 2007 on a very special day for The Queen, her diamond wedding anniversary.
