The blonde woman is a Mawah native and 2015 Marymount Manhattan College graduate working at the World Trade Center-based pharmacy benefit manager, according to her Facebook account. “The former employee’s actions and words are not representative of Capital Rx, and we offer our sincerest apology to those who were hurt.”
Her boyfriend politely tries to remove her from the situation, at one point holding onto her wrists as she leans into one man’s face.“I can handle my own,” she insisted. The camera pans over other passengers, which include a mortified-looking couple sitting behind the group of tourists.“You know I’m an immigrant, I’m an immigrant, too, you know that, right?” he reasoned.Her boyfriend bends down and the two are seen talking before she loudly says, “Everyone is f–king laughing about it now.
“’You know I’m an immigrant, too.’ That’s so f–king sad. I hope he uses this chance to get out of a relationship with this … winner,” another wrote, before wondering, “How long before the ‘This isn’t who I am’ non-apology video?
