Police stopped two teens
Police have arrested two 18-year-olds on suspicion of possessing drugs with intent to supply after they were stopped in a car on cloned number plates.
Officers from Lancashire Constabulary stopped the vehicle Mooreside Road in the Brookhouse area, east of Lancaster, of Tuesday night . A search uncovered a rucksack with a large quantity of suspected Class A and Class B drugs along with an amount in cash. A man from Lancaster and a woman from Morecambe were both arrested and taken into custody. They have since been released under investigation.Chief Superintendent Karen Edwards said: "This was an excellent arrest by my officers. Drugs pose a real threat to our communities and blights the lives of good, law-abiding citizens.
